Making The Cover

Last week Taz posted up the latest issue of Complex featuring the oh-so-hot-right-now Kid Cudi and just plain hot Keri Hillson. One of the coolest parts about this issue is the artwork, which I now know was created by graff artist Augor. Via his blog, he has walked through the steps it took to make the artwork for the issue.
It’s pretty interesting, and there’s some cool stuff that got scrapped. Check it here

One of Brisbane’s best and most well spoken DJ Gavin Boyd, brings you a hot new mixtape cut up in his own killer style. My personal thoughts is he is one the nicest DJs you’ll ever meet and always plays a fresh set.
Gave this mixtape a proper listen today this shit is banging, like round up the crew holla at some shorties, pop it in press play and have a good time.
This and many more on Gavin Boyds website. Leave him some love and find out where he is playing on his Facebook.

If anyone is interested in purchasing the Mixtape, copies are available at Rocking Horse Records and Laced in the city.

Cassius Eyewear

Gear Brisbane has just become a stockist of Cassius Eyewear, one of the best things to come out of New Zealand since… well… anyway… Pictured is the Corbu model, and I must say they’re a handsome looking pair of sunglasses and fairly well priced at $205.
Go buy some from Gear’s newly opened online store already!
