Rumours have circulated for a few years now that Perth’s Highs And Lows had been working on a New Balance collaboration. There was speculation over what model was being used, release dates, whether it was a single shoe or a pack, and even conjecture over where the shoes were being made (UK or Asian). Finally all the heresay and gossip can be laid to rest as HAL reveal the Day/Night pack, consisting of two contrasting yet complementary Asian made 577s.

Its been a busy lead-up to Christmas for the guys over at FEIT, lets see what they’ve got coming up over the next few months…

This past weekend saw Adelaide street in Brisbane taken over by some of the nicest BMXs you’re likely to see in a while. With the help of Laced, members of OZBMX and LuxBMX our boy James put together one hell of a night filled with booze, shoes and bikes. Everyone that attended the opening night was treated to the unveiling of the Laced .35 Special; the new shop bike. To commemorate the event there are also a few tees and a special friends and family Vans Authentic.
Due to some technical issues (aka forgetfulness) we weren’t able to take any shots of our own so we have to rely on the following sources to show you what you’ve missed out on…
Laced, Sam Stewart and Stuart Arrowsmith.

It’s that time of year again, and I couldn’t care less about cheap nasty chocolate from China. I prefer the much less lead riddled option of The Big Picture’s yearly tradition of an advent calendar compiled from images taken by the Hubble Space Telescope.

It’s that time of year again; Sneaker Freaker’s end-of-year issue is about to hit the stands and they’ve got pre-orders cranking out as we speak, featuring a unique Stash cover and A1 poster to boot! In total there’s 7 covers to collect this time around.
This issue is set to be the biggest yet, and look out for that now annual “best of the best”. For all the details hit up Sneaker Freaker’s Pre-Order, or better yet secure all 7 covers. If you don’t feel like ordering online, these will also be available in not too long at Laced.

You may remember the Design a 574 competition we ran in the lead-up to the 2010 Swap & Cop. Well if you didn’t take notice, the guy who won it goes by the name of Kalin Thompson. What you might not have realised is Kalin is a bloody talented artist and last night saw the opening of his solo exhibition at Butter Beat on Brunswick St. With Taz on a mission of top secret nature, twizzy was left alone to brave the wilds of Friday night in the Valley.
