Well the guys at FEIT were busy coming up with yet another show stopper whilst the release of their Outlier x FEIT Supermarine was releasing. The newest addition to the model lineup is the Hiker X-Ray, a boot which incorperates the amazing X-Ray sole onto a completely new upper. What else is special? Well the shoe is constructed from Horween Chrome Excel leather, a material that requires intense amounts of labour to get it to the beautiful stage you see it in here.

This year is set to be a big one for New Balance Australia and it all begins with the launch of their new website dedicated to the quiet achiever of the range; the 574. Following local artists on a multi-part journey, the site is set to build up a story over the next while. Special shout outs to Raph Rashid; a guy who’s been there and done just about everything and now makes some amazing burgers (which we experienced nearly a year ago at Buffet).

Well by now I’m sure you’re all aware of the fact that a Hong Kong based consortium has bought out majority share of the controlling body of BAPE; Nowhere for a tick under US$3m. Whilst it might seem cheap, it’s reported that this includes a few billion yen in debt. David Marx or Neojaponisme has had quite a bit of experience with the brand and offers a short yet interesting insight into the downfall of what is one of the most influential brands of the last few decades.
