Released in 2009 the DMP pack V wasn’t a patch on the quality of the previous releases, but the fact that it was the first pair of Jordans I owned, meant that I had to pick them up no matter what.
You’ve seen Stu’s pics from the Mo’ Munny Mo’ Problems event and Taz’s video’s coming real soon. Studio shots of all the pieces will be going up on the Laced site once we finish processing them. In the mean time check out some detailed shots of our boy Kalin Thompson‘s “Quartermaine”, it’s mindblowing. That’s what 250 hours gets ya though. There’s a full range of shots on Kalin’s site so go check ‘em out.

Lazy Sunday was required after a satisfying, but heavy night saying goodbye to T and Eve. I try not to think about how cheap this pack went down to on the CT store, because I should have really doubled up on all 3 shoes, but hindsight is a wonderful thing, as they say.

We got together last night for a meal at Mos Burger in Sunnybank Hills, it was a bitter sweet affair as we sat down for one last dinner with our home girl Eve, who we have had the privilege of calling our friend for the past 4 years. We celebrated her last night in the 4000 with a dysfunctional family feast with way too much food, I am talking 2 to 3 burgers each like between 7 of us and the wait staff got rather frustrated of our appetite, but we just wanted the dinner to last as long as we could. We will no doubt see her again in the near future but for now we must bid her farewell and the best of luck with her endeavours.
- P4, good times
This latest collaboration with London based sneaker forum ‘Crooked Tongues’ sees the return of 2 classic colourways as featured on the 574 some years ago. The shape of the UK 1500 might have changed for the worst in the eyes of some purists, but to me, it’s still nice enough and the quality of Cumbria produced shoes is still on point when compared to some other un-named manufacturers.
Not much to say on these really…just a classic colouway on a classic silhouette.
Last night Redbull and Laced got together to throw one hell of a Kidrobot Munny competition aptly named Mo’ Munny Mo’ Problems, shit was cray!!! Local and international artist brought out some pre summer heat, with a tonne of Munny freaked out to the nines and a bunch more got the custom treatment live, its a real shame if you missed out on this event because it was a banger! See how many exclamation marks I just used it was that frigin good, Stu did a stellar job of snapping up the vibe of the show and I tried my best at capturing some footage for Redbull which will be out shortly.
