Feit Store Sydney
Dropped in to the Feit store on Oxford Street this past weekend and got to checkout some of the samples of the new PNTHA Lows and the new Oxfords and few of other new models that I hadn’t seen before in the flesh. I was a bit dubious on the cork on the new Pntha Lows but after seeing them in person all doubts were cleared they are really nicely finished and as always the upper is done in a plush leather. Also got to checkout the Oxfords, the sole as on the Moc Chukka is just incredible, however in my opinion the upper on this one will look way better with a bit of wear and tear.
- T, take a better look at the samples
Night Motion Timelapse – Outer Banks
Anyone who’s familiar with my other blog will know that I’m a huge fan of good night time/sky timelapse photography. This effort by Daniel Dragon Films is one of the better ones. The fact that they’ve chosen a really dark and moody soundtrack really adds to the film.
- S, make sure you watch in HD and with the sound way up.

The first part in a series following the achievements of Shut Skateboards and Zoo York founder Rodney Smith. Featuring words from some pretty influential guys, including someone I really respect; Alyasha Owerka-Moore it’s a good watch. I’m interested to see the other installations in this mini-series created to promote his Vans Syndicate collaboration.

Jamel Shabazz Street Photographer
Jamel Shabazz documented a movement, their clothes, their dance and their stance, in one perfect book called Back in the Days, which I posted about a few weeks ago. The book is being re-released and just in time legendary director Charlie Ahearn who created the cult classic Wild Style has created a documentary on the man behind the stills, Jamel Shabazz Street Photographer.
- T, sadly don’t think this will be in theatres here we will all have to wait for a dvd release
Big Sean – I Do It

Nike – Chosen – Behind The Scenes
I posted previously about the Nike Chosen campaign, these are the behind the scene of the making of those incredible commercials. Check them out, I personally think this if one of the best looking campaigns I have seen in a while.
- T, Skate and Surf clip beyond the flip!
Red Bull Wreckers Yard Feat. David Dallas
The Brisbane leg of Red Bull Wreckers Yard went down this past Thursday and the 4000 crowd came out in full force to show love. It was a night of some great head to head battles, the best piece of the night was definitely the “No Hope!” flip by Gimicks who ended up taking the whole thing. The event was blessed with a surprise performance by David Dallas, who recently dropped his latest mixtape The Rose Tint. We had a pretty good night getting tweaked on Red Bull and Ironlak fumes, haha.
- T, more dopeness after the flip!
Nike SB – Support your Local
A dope short doco about skate boarding and the culture surrounding it that is emerging in China. Very well shot, exactly the kind of work I like watching, hats off to Charles Lanceplaine and his team.
