Last night was the first side event for Carbon, 1000₤Bend was the setting for the world famous Ricky Powell Slideshow, where the man himself gave a 2 hour guided tour from the early 80s through the glorious 90s, displaying iconic images that we have all come to appreciate.

Before the T and I head down to Melbourne tomorrow for Carbon I thought I’d drop this off. Thanks to the crew over at Acclaim I can share this mixtape created by Mick Boogie to celebrate the Beastie Boys induction into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame. Featuring remixes and live performances of some of the group’s most notable tracks it’s a nice listen in the lead up to Ricky Powell’s show at £1000 Bend later this week.
